Who am I? I often ask myself that question, when I'm in an existential mood of course. First and foremost, I am a graphic artist and I provide cutting edge graphic design, art direction and digital imaging services to a diverse base of clients, including small businesses, ambitious entrepreneurs, independent musicians, book publishers, entertainment studios, corporate accounts and hapless family members. I specialize in design for the entertainment, publishing and advertising industries - Design that makes heads turn, bodies move and puts people in the seats.
Here in the creative mothership, I maintain a focus on artistry, efficiency and a slew of other cool adjectives ending in the “ity” suffix. With a well-honed dedication to the craft of design that parallels that of the creator of the original Swiss Army Knife, it's all about versatility, diversity, and finding the elusive balance between creativity and common sense. Yes, sometimes they are mutually exclusive. No, this does not hinder me in the least. Who doesn't like a challenge... at least when the Dr. Pepper is on tap?
style: modern, dramatic, bombastic, sublime, refined, instintive, distinctive, combustible, powerful and robust... with an attention to detail that surpasses that of the IRS and won’t cause as much trepedatation. All this and the ability to generate powerful visual concepts as well as good taste in kung fu movies - what more is there?
approach: flexible and efficient, professional and consistent, subtle and dramatic, subversive and dynamic. No ideas are without merit, just as no result is without compromise. Design versatility that results in engaging, and ultimately effective results - what more do you need?
mandate of inspiration: personal perspective, artistic pride, the appropriate software skills, a plethora of creative experience and classic Kung Fu movies. All of this is collectively brought to bear (even subconsciously) on all projects with a minimum of pedestrian collateral damage, and a maximum of creative carnage - that's all there is to it.
Adjust your spelunking gear, place your seats into their upright position, disconnect all electronic devices (and kitchen appliances) and buckle your seatbelts - let’s activate the Time Flux Capacitor and check out the design portfolio... or download the studio brochure if you're not feeling particularly adventurous here. |
